Product description

Jose Cuervo Silver Especial is the pinnacle of mastery and finesse, representing true silver tequila. Created by experienced distillers at La Rojeña, the oldest active distillery in the world, this tequila offers a perfectly balanced blend. Its flavour profile is characterised by distinctive agave notes, which are beautifully complemented by hints of caramel and fresh herbs, making this tequila an exceptional drink for any occasion.

Jose Cuervo is distinguished by many aspects, from the traditional methods passed down through generations to the rich volcanic soil from which the blue agave comes. For 250 years, they have been dedicated to producing top quality Jose Cuervo tequila, making them one of the best tequila producers in the world.

Jose Cuervo's history dates back to 1795, when Jose María Guadalupe de Cuervo began selling the first Vino Mezcal de Tequila de Jose Cuervo, following the first official permission to commercially produce tequila from the King of Spain. Since then, Cuervo tequila has been produced at La Rojeña, the oldest active distillery in Latin America.

The process of producing this tequila begins in the fields of the Tequila Volcano, where the agave grows for seven years before harvest. The agave kernels, known as 'piñas', are then carefully processed at La Rojeña distillery: roasted, ground and fermented before being distilled and aged in toasted barrels, creating the unrivalled flavour of our tequila.
