40^th monarch to be crowned in Westminster Abbey, the location of Coronations for more than 900 years.

With current cost of living crisis, King Charles III has aspirations of a ‚slimmed-down‘ monarchy and event. (possibly 2000 guests rather than 8000 guests at Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation)

Liquid: A complex blend of over 53 different whiskies, representing the year 1953 when Royal Salute was gifted for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Fresh redcurrants, homemade strawberry jam, banoffee pie, dark chocolate praline, freshly-roasted chestnuts, clove spice and a hint of charred pineapple.

Palate: A balanced mixed of poached pears, sticky sweet figs, rich toffee, lavish hazelnut chocolate and lively festive spice of fresh ginger, cinnamon and cloves.

Finish: Long and rich with enduring, playful spice on the palate.
